USPSA matches are supported according to the rules from United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA). For more details and rules see www.uspsa.org web site.
SSI supports all disciplines of USPSA; Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle, Precision Rifle, Action Air and all their related divisions.
SSI supports all match formats for individual disciplines and also; Tournaments (two or more component matches of different disciplines), Leagues (two or more component matches of same discipline), and Cups (two or more component matches of same discipline but only #n best results are scored over time, e.g. you can run a cup of 6 matches and the best 3 results for each competitor is accumulated to a total cup score). Note that only Tournament is an official USPSA format and League and Cups are variations of a Tournament that are very suitable for a distributed and large scale events.
When you create your match you can select from the above match types and the applicable divisions will made be available for shooters when they registering for the competition etc. You define your stages by stating how many available target (paper, plates, poppers etc) and than all you need to do is enter the scorecards and the results are calculated for you.
- All USPSA Classifier stages are available and can be added to a match.
- USPSA Handgun; Rifle, Shotgun & Precision Rifle Match. A single match of selected firearm
- USPSA Multi-gun Match where each competitor will be shooting two or more firearms.
- USPSA Tournament consists of two or more component USPSA matches of different firearms. You can create new USPSA matches or include existing matches. The competitors result will be the accumulated points of all component match results.
- USPSA League consists of two or more component USPSA matches of same firearms. You can create new USPSA matches or include existing matches. The competitors result will be the accumulated points of all component match results.
- USPSA Cup consists of two or more component USPSA matches of same firearms. You can create new USPSA matches or include existing matches. The competitors result will be the sum of the best #n (for example best 3) out of all matches points of all component match result. You can select the number of matches to include in the result.
Known issues: Multigun matches where shooting a stage with multiple firearms in different powerfactor (i.e. in case you wish to separate that value of a B/C hit depending on what firearm used to shoot it) is not supported at this moment.
